- TAKARA BELMONT started it's business 100 years ago as a small foundry with only several employees in the industrial area known as the “Manchester of the East” along the Kizu River in Osaka. In the early Showa period, the company changed its main business line from casting to hairdressing chairs by leveraging its casting technology. This bold change established the foundation for the current business. Moreover, while facing changing times, the company expanded its business under the motto of “Supporting the beauty and health of people” through efforts such as making inroads into the global market and the industries of dental & medical equipment and aesthetics, as well as by developing cosmetics. Today, we have grown into a company that sold products in more than 120 countries around the world.
